Elegant all-white cheese board (Printable Version)

A refined selection of brie, white peaches, meringue, and silver leaf for an elegant, celebratory serving.

# What You Need:

→ Cheese

01 - 9 oz brie cheese, wheel or wedge, chilled

→ Fruit

02 - 3 ripe white peaches, thinly sliced

→ Sweets

03 - 12 small meringue kisses or nests, homemade or store-bought

→ Garnish

04 - Edible silver leaf, for decoration

→ Accompaniments (optional)

05 - Small handful of white grapes
06 - Small bowl of raw or lightly toasted blanched almonds

# How-To Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°F. Beat 2 large egg whites with ½ cup superfine sugar and ¼ teaspoon cream of tartar until stiff peaks form. Pipe or spoon small mounds onto a lined baking sheet. Bake for 1 hour until crisp. Cool completely. Skip if using store-bought meringue.
02 - Place brie cheese in the center of a large serving board.
03 - Fan thinly sliced white peaches artfully around the brie.
04 - Position meringue kisses or nests in clusters around the peaches and brie.
05 - Add white grapes and almonds if desired.
06 - Using tweezers, gently apply edible silver leaf to select meringue pieces and peaches for an elegant presentation.
07 - Serve immediately, allowing guests to sample and combine flavors and textures as desired.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It looks impossibly fancy but comes together in under 20 minutes if you skip the meringue baking.
  • Every bite is a different texture and temperature—soft, crunchy, juicy, creamy all at once.
  • It's a cheese board that actually feels celebratory without requiring hours of planning.
02 -
  • Don't slice your peaches more than 15 minutes before assembly or they'll start to brown and release too much juice, making your board weep.
  • The silver leaf is entirely optional—I've made this a hundred times without it and it's just as beautiful, but if you do use it, practice on a meringue first because it tears so easily.
03 -
  • Chill your board in the freezer for five minutes before arranging; the cold surface keeps the brie from softening and everything looking crisp longer.
  • If you're nervous about the peaches browning, toss them gently in a tiny splash of lemon juice right before arranging—it keeps them bright without tasting lemony.
